IMAGIC - Drilling Technology
General Information

The drilling system IMAGIC has a stable and at the same time compact design for long-life cycle. Adapted to the throughfeed technique the reference edge is situated on the l.h. side in the transport direction.
With the optimal machine design with ficed or individually controllable drilling spindles any possible drilling option for furniture components can be realised.
With the fully automatic positioning of all processing units and the minimal set-up times the new IMA drilling system IMAGIC can be used for mass production (such as e.g. manufacturers of ready-to-assemble furnitures) as as for medium and small batch sizes.
The standard version of the drilling machines is designed for horizontal drilling and vertical processing from the bottom on rectangular panels. Due to various options such as drilling from the top, glue application, insertion of dowels and many more, individual customised solutions can be conceived.
Features
- Up to five processing supports from the bottom (for drilling units with individually controllable spindles) respectively seven (for alternating drilling gears) for efficient processing of drilling patterns.
- Automatic pasitionable panel counterholds from the top.
- The special guiding system absorbs arising forces and ruarantees precise processing results.
- Higher capacitiy by separate horizontal and vertical drilling stations.
- Integrated chip conveyor belt for removal of drilling cuttings.
- Simple machine operation with PC-control ICOS QUICK STEP with integrated drilling and guideway optimisation.
Individual conception by multiple options.

Separate drilling line: 3 drilling machines with stacking and feeding - In total 42 vertical drilling units for manual feed with alterning drilling gears (fixed drilling spindles) for processing from the bottom. In total 36 drilling spindles for horizontal processing on transverse edges.
